Thanksgiving Outfit Inspiration #1

Hi loves!! I seriously can not believe we are just two days away from Thanksgiving. This semester is flying by like crazy. I feel like I just moved back to the city 3 weeks ago not almost 3 months ago. Anyways, with Turkey Day just around the corner I am sharing with you the perfect Thanksgiving outfit inspiration with Urban Outfitters and Public Desire. When planning a Thanksgiving outfit I definitely go with something that will cover up the inevitable food baby that this holiday brings. I have to say, if you don’t have a food baby on Thanksgiving, you are not doing it right.

There is no better way to do this than to wear something that flares out right at the stomach area just like this Urban Mini Dress. I loved this dress because it is cozy and warm but also so cute and trendy. I am all about this velvet trend that is happening and you will probably see more from me! Oh, and the color is a plus, I am not usually a huge fan of orange but for some reason there was something about this almost burnt orangish color that I was in agreeance with and just reminded me of Thanksgiving day. Even though I love this dress I just have to point out that it is very low-cut so for some one like me I had to pin the neck line, definitely for someone smaller chested. Just a heads up!

The main reason dresses are great for Thanksgiving though has to be because you don’t have to wear real pants with them. I threw some super comfy tights under and that way I won’t need to worry about any uncomfortable buttons, zippers, clips, etc. Finally, I had to share with you guys these black over the knee boots that I am obsessed with. They are from one of my current favorite online boutiques, Public Desire. Public desire has all of this seasons must haves as far as shoes go and at a super reasonable price. Every time I wear these boots, I get compliments and people ask me ‘who they are by’. They are always shocked to find out that they are inexpensive and from an online shop.

Besides that I topped off the outfit with some cool black accessories. A choker (again, on season with this fall’s trends) and some black sunnies. I had so much fun shooting these photos with Adeline from Ebbs ‘n’ Flows Photography. We adventured around the Meatpacking area a little and then the rest of the pictures are from Chelsea Market. This is one of my favorite places in all of NYC and since I was in the area I decided to take a walk through. Little hint: they have some of the best gift ideas for the holidays coming up! Well, that’s all I am sharing for this look but I will be following up this post super shortly with one more TDay outfit idea, PLUS will be sharing all my plans for the holiday. Can’t wait. XOXO
