My personal favorite place this summer for brunch was the Copper Hen. At this farmhouse chic restaurant every little detail counts. From the big and beautiful bloody Mary’s that come in mason jars to the sweetest font that is seen on all the menus and chalk boards around. Of course, I notice these things. The food also stood up to it’s hype. I specifically had what was called “Saint Paul’s Best Sandwich” and the name wasn’t far off. I also couldn’t leave without grabbing myself a little treat. Their little bakery section was hard to keep away from. I indulged in a champagne flavored cupcake with the sweetest frosting ever!

Barbette

I try to make an effort to go here at least once a summer. Barbette is a fun and playful bistro in the neighborhood of uptown where you can enjoy patio seating on a gorgeous day with a plate full of french inspired cuisine and a very satisfying iced latte.

French Meadow is my favorite sustainable food eatery in Minneapolis. With an all-day American menu you can’t go wrong here. They have everything from sandwiches to burgers to soups. But what this place is really known for is their unmatched organic eats. I personally love coming here because of all the vegetarian, vegan and even gluten free options. Not to mention the beautiful patio outside is a plus. D and I enjoyed an all organic, turkey burger with avocado. YUM!

Psycho Suzie’s

Psycho Suzie’s knows their brand better than anyone else and I just really couldn’t describe them any better than their about page on their website, “lighting up Nordeast Minneapolis with a passive- aggressive mixture of bad taste and good Minnesota hospitality” is what they are all about. More specifically Psycho Suzie’s is known for being a good time tiki bar, with great drinks, a funky atmosphere and a brunch that could cure anyone’s hangover.
